ZEE Network UK has bagged the rights to broadcast the upcoming Sri Lanka – Pakistan series, which takes place in UAE later this week.

The series, which consist of three Tests, five ODIs and two Twenty20s, will be shown on ZEE Cinema UK under its ‘Cinematic Cinema’ brand. The tour kicks off on Wednesday 11th December with the first Twenty20 in Dubai. The first ODI will be held in Sharjah on Wednesday 18th December. The first Test has been scheduled for Tuesday 31st December in Dubai, while Abu Dhabi and Sharjah will host the second and third Tests, from between 8th and 16th January.

Since the terrorist attack on the Sri Lankan team in Lahore in March 2009, Pakistan have been forced to play their home series overseas, with UAE being the preferred venue.

ZEE Cinema UK will use pictures from its sister station Ten Sports, which is the host broadcaster.
