Rishi Rich’s French star Abbas Hasan wrapped his grand video shoot with Humaima Malick last week. The young heartthrob has gone from strength to strength over the past year: touring across Europe, performing at Priyanka Chopra’s film premiere and even doing an advert with Shah Rukh Khan. Now Hasan will be seen sizzling on screen opposite Malick. Best known for her BAFTA award-winning performance in Atif Aslam starrer ‘Bol’ (2011), Humaima Malick’s upcoming Bollywood film ‘Sher’ will be releasing this summer and also stars Vivek Oberoi and Sunjay Dutt.

Hasan, who is rumoured to be touring internationally with a Bollywood legend in Spring this year, spoke of the actress, “I had a great time working with Humaima. She had a great sense of humour and we were laughing throughout the shoot… And she was a true professional, even despite the incredibly cold conditions. We can’t wait to share the video with everyone.”

Hasan is best known for his Number 1 hit singles Sona and Habibi and for being counted in the Top 10 list of Most Handsome Asian Male Models in the UK. He speaks of the experience, “This was the longest music video shoot but we just had so much fun throughout the process. After a full week of filming it felt like we had shot an epic. We had such great energy on set… just a fantastic team and I’m so proud of everyone who was part of the project. It really was a labour of love.”

Hasan’s new single, entitled Away is produced by Rishi Rich himself and has even been worked on by his protégé Naamless. The single and video with Malick are due out in March, and the pair are expected to announce a private press event before the launch.
