Ajay Devgan and Prakash Jha bury the hatchet?

Although once rumoured to have fallen out, news now has it that Ajay Devgn and director Prakash Jha have made amends and are in talks of making a sequel to ‘Gangaajal’ (2003) as well as a new film called ‘Satyagrah’.

Currently working on ‘Chakravyuh’ starring Arjun Rampal, Hindustan Times reports the director stating, “I will start Gangaajal 2 next year after wrapping up Satyagrah…I’ve been wanting to take the brand (of Gangaajal) forward for a long time.”

As a source revealed, the script is yet to be finalised, “…We don’t know the details of the script, but like the first, the second part will also be set in Bihar.”

It was claimed that Devgn and Jha had fallen out due to Devgn not being happy with how his role in the film ‘Raajneeti’ (2010)  was portrayed. The source revealed that Devgn agreed to do ‘Gangaajal 2’ after Jha explained the storyline, putting an end to their differences.

As for ‘Satyagrah’, reports have it that Amitabh Bachchan has been signed and Devgn will play the protagonist. It is thought the film will roll in December.
